The most popular mobile brand in India is Xiaomi, Xiaomi's new phone Redmi Y2 is launched in india on 7th June. The directly compet with Realme 1 the Y2 is a selfie-centric smartphone successor of last year Redmi Y1. The phone comes with decent feature like AI backed front camera which can take Amazing selfies. Oppo's online brand Realme 1 is a budget deive with strong chipset and decent camera not a dual camera.

Design and Build

The realme  1 is the one of the good looking phone at the affordable price tag segment. The Black Diamond, comes with fiber glass
back and diamond glass cutting patterns that amazing looking on phone while seeing in differnet angles under lights. the Realme 1
comes with other colour option like Solar Red and Midnight Sliver, are equally eye pleasing and attractive.
The Redmi Y2 follow the same design as the other Redmi devices have. But the Y2 have rear back panel has a full metal finish.
Both the phones has 18:9 full view display with the fair amount of bezels on the front. The Redmi Y2 offer a fingerpring sensor
at the back wheres the Realme 1 has Face Unlock as the only biometrics.

In this category Realme 1 has won the battle beacuse Realme 1 offers 6-inch Full HD+ display that offer a better picture
quality and vivid colors as compared to the Redmi Y2 5.9-inch HD+ panel. The panels aren't quite bezle-less on both devices.

The Realme 1 is equipped with Media Tek Helio P60 mobile chipset, paired with upto 6 GB of RAM and upto 128 Storage space.
You can upgrade the storage via Micro SD card upto 256 GB. on the second hand Redmi Y2 has same chipset as the Redmi Note 5 that was launched in February. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, supported by up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable upto 256 GB.
The Helio P60 is the latest mid-range chipset from MediaTek can compat with Snapdragons 636 SoC. The P60 built-in NPU to pull of AI activity. The MediaTek chipset can easily beat the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625.

Bothe phones run on the Custom UI on top of the Android 8.1 Oreo. While the Redmi Y2 has MIUI 9 top of, the Realme 1 has
Oppo's Color OS 5.0.  But MIUI 9 has a customization option and Redmi Y2 will be update with MIUI 10.


Camera and Battery

In this category Redmi Y2 camera hardware gives it an upper hand over Realme 1. Xiaomis Redmi Y2 packs dual real camera setup in the back. The primary sensor is a 12-megapixel and second sensor is 5-megapixel Booke mode shooter. In front, it has a 16-megapixel for the selfie with LED flash light and AI beauty feature.
The Realme 1, sports single sensor at the back has 8-megapixel and in the front 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Realme 1 camera also use the AI-technology to enhance the picture quality and Portrait mode,like Redmi Y2.

As for the batter, the Redmi Y2 packed with 3080mAh battery whereas the Realme 1 packs a 3410mAh battery. But the Realme 1
has a bigger battery than Redmi Y2 and power efficient chipset and is thus to last longer.
